I learnt so much from my prince2 foundation exam and want to share one tip with you. Everyone knows that filing is a very important yet unpleasant task. However, to ensure smooth operations in an office in terms of retrieving information, it cannot be ignored. There are various filing systems that a business could implement based upon the way the information needs to be collected and interpreted. For example, files could be arranged in alphabetical order. This is one of the simplest systems to understand and operate. The only complication with this systems is when names are duplicated. Another way is through numerical filing. In this system, files are arranged numerically. Each new file is given a number and it could have unlimited expansion. It is also easy to know if a file is missing. Geographical filing is mainly used in large organizations that do business in many parts of the country or that have different territories with branch operations. Filing using subject matter is also a viable option. It is easy to understand and more confidential than using an individual's name. The chronological method is used for filing according to date. There are many ways to file and a company could use one of more of them in order to ensure the smooth running of the business and avoiding the clutter. |

For many years, people have been prone to living a life of denial where fraud properties are owned yet nothing much is done to put this to a stop. This has been to the advantage of those who own the properties yet to the great disadvantage of those who deserve the properties yet are not given the chance to be in ownership. This is common in the case of grants where the authourities involved give out the grants without considering who deserves what amount and who doesnnt. But what should be done so as to avoid these inconveniences? It is at such time that the government should employ genuine grants officer who is able to distribute grants sparingly and only to those who need to be given a share. This is also possible if the government is dedicated to help the citizens genuinely in offering a good amount of cash that if distributed to the needy, there will be enough to cater for the needs that the application was made for. This should be done as soon as possible to avoid further inconveniences to all the applicants. |

In case you have the resources, you do that job you have been assigned and stop wondering about things that you cannot handle. Those things that are out of your reach should be left like that for the ones who have the capability to take care of them. Just get yourself together and ignore the why outsource option your friends are giving you and make use of your time correctly. Friends might want to discourage you from doing the work on your own and encourage you to outsource for the same services. If you are a person who stands for what you believe in, they will not change your mind about what you are about to do. What you are to do will turn out right when you have done it alone. The way you do it will not be the same if another person was to do the same thing. You will give it your all and make sure that every resource has been used. The other person might overlook some things because they don't care what is used and what is not used. |

Imagine what would happen if you are not able to contact your bank in order to make transactions that will not wait any further. It is not something nice and well, it is a bad place to be at. For those who have been in a situation like this will say that they were put at a corner maybe because the person who needed to be paid was in a problem that could be solved by the availability of funds or it was a business deal that was delayed and eventually went sour. Whatever it was, one would not want to be in the same situation again. This is the same case with PayPal which one can term as a payment channel online for those conducting their business on eBay. If you want to make a payment through paypal and it fails or you have any pressing question, contacting paypal is not a hard thing. The reason to this is because the contacts are there on your account page. Use the contacts to reach paypal and get help. |

While it's cool to talk about your marketing strategies by name dropping the likes of Twitter and Facebook, we still rely on the traditional methods to help get our word out there. We've got some carrier bag suppliers to make us branded carrier bags for example - what better way to get your logo on to the streets? People don't change that much, even if technology does. A lot of companies put all their eggs in one basket and do all their marketing online, but for me that's a risky strategy. There's too many variables on the internet - too many things outside of your control. It's good to have a balanced approach to marketing and get the word out there both online and offline. We're also not aggressive with our marketing - we believe in "permission marketing" and basically waiting for our target market to come to us rather than we go to them. |

During these difficult financial times it has become increasingly important to learn how to manage finances correctly. If you are experiencing financial difficulty then it is important to prepare a budget over a given time e.g. weekly or monthly. This should include all your income and expenses. When this is completed it should become apparent where your money is being spent. There are two things to do if you have a shortfall at the end of the month, either increase income or reduce costs. Usually reducing costs is the most practical and this can be achieved by cutting out unnecessary expenses. A lot of discipline is needed to achieve this. Expenses should be prioritised and items such as mortgage and household bills should be dealt with first. If you are in the fortunate position to have an excess of income over expenses then it would be prudent to put this aside for the future as your financial circumstances may deteriorate. There is a range of savings options available in banks at the moment. Also for people in difficulty it would be an option to seek independent advice on managing finances, they can help prepare a budget or help dealing with debt. So don't delay in preparing your budget and assessing your financial situation. |

Anyone with a business wonders how they can get more customers to visit their storefront. You are in competition with many other businesses and need to find a way to make your company stand out. First of all, it will depend on what you are selling in your business. If it is clothing, then perhaps hosting a fashion show for the community portraying your clothing lines would be great advertisement, or getting some ad vans to drive around displaying your ad (at the very least). If you are trying to sell photography packages, then getting out and doing charity work for the community taking photographs would be a great way to get your skill out there. For those selling cars, you could hold a large auction and family fun day to get people out to your car lot for the day. My biggest tip would be to hold some type of community event that people will enjoy without the intention of purchasing. They will, however, leave with your company name in mind. |
